Bicester Park & Ride – North of Oxford

I know what you are thinking! Why have I put Bicester Park and ride down as for servicing Oxford, when Oxford has 5 allocated Park and rides of its own? Basically, because you can never have enough car parking options. Bicester Park and ride maybe in equidistance between Banbury and Oxford and take up to 53 minutes to get the bus into Oxford city centre.

But it does have some benefits as well, The main one being it is free of charge. Unlike the five Oxford Park and Rides, you do not have to pay at Bicester Park and Ride to park your vehicle. But, also unlike the Oxford park and rides, the maximum stage here are Bisceseter is only 24 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: Penalties charges may apply after this time.

I added Bicester Park and ride as an option to use when visiting Oxford. But although it is free, you can only park for a day and buses don’t even run here on Sunday. So let it be your 6th choice for a park-and-ride location in Oxford.

Well seventh option, as I would recommend using the Best FREE Parking Spots in Oxford map way before getting to any of the Park and Ride options. Less of course you are visiting Banbury for the day, in which case Bicester Park and Ride is the one for you.
