Where is there Free Car Parking In Canterbury

There are places, times and ways to park for free if you are a little clever and know where to go and don’t mind a little walk to the centre of town.

The City Council Offices are closed at the weekends, and so they allow the public to park on their 200 space Car Park on a Saturday and Sunday.

But if you are going shopping and have things to do around town on foot, why not mix the two together. There are many stores in Canterbury that offer up to all-day parking as long as you buy something.

With a little bit of forethought, you can have your parking and shopping done, and your parking is taken care of for a good few hours more while you go and more around town.
