Even though Falmer is 4.8 miles from Lewes town centre, it does have the Zone F of the Lewes Restrictions Zones here. So I mentioned it earlier, but best to elaborate. Just Yards away from Brighton Sussex University and American Express Community Stadium (Go Seagulls!)
Zone F is free to park from 4 pm to 9 am the next day, from Monday to Friday. It is also Free to Park your vehicle here at the weekend.
Also, Zone F is free to park and with no restrictions from 1st September to 31st May.
Is there any Free On Road Parking in Falmer?
I have looked hard for you, and can honestly say, There are no non-restricting roads for free parking outside of the parking zone area.
This is because Falmer is either a university, stadium, dual carriageway or very, very narrow country lanes. Saying that the Swan Inn is a lovely little family-run pub, that offers local real ales and delicious beer-battered cod and chips, so an oasis in a parking dessert.
